SIX SLAG POT CARRIERS FOR SAUDI ARABIA

The Hadeed steelworks in Saudi Arabia ordered six Slag Taurus P 80 slag pot carriers in one lot. Issued in early 2011, it was the biggest single order for the Kirow Slag Taurus to date. Commissioning and trials in Saudi Arabia took place in April 2012 and the vehicles were ceremoniously handed over in the second quarter 2012 after the drivers and service team had been given intensive training. Hadeed steelworks enjoys an excellent reputation in the Middle East. Therefore, an order for such a huge number of vehicles caused quite a stir in the neighbouring countries.
