ORDER OF DEUTSCHE BAHN EXCECUTED
06.04.2016
Another long chapter in our common history with Deutsche Bahn closed with the delivery of two Multi Tasker 910s. After more than 35 years of use, the old crane trains, while still usable despite their advanced age, were sent into retirement and replaced with the two new 910s and another three Multi Tasker 1200s. All five cranes will be used for accidents, such as derailments, from their locations in Leipzig, Fulda and Wanne-Eickel. Routes will be cleared for travel as quickly as possible. They can be ready for use and operation quickly due to the 100 km/h travelling speed of the train unit and short set-up times. The cranes are the ideal recovery unit in accidents thanks to lifting capacities of 160 and 100 tonnes, profile-free operation with double slewing ring and shorter backward outreach as well as front load handling.
