NOVOBRA ORDERS ADDITIONAL SLAG TAURUS

The Techne customer, Novobra, operates the Acindar steel plant near Buenos Aires, Argentina, as a slag business service provider and has ordered vehicle number five. The combined package of the first transporters; safety, reliability and functionality convinced Novobra so much that they are expanding their fleet again in 2016. The special feature in the Acindar facility is the very narrow operating space in particular below the furnace. Here the empty slag ladle is placed, filled and lifted up again and must be transported away, there is very little room for manoeuvre. The vehicle has a total payload of 50 tonnes with extremely compact dimensions of 10.5 metres in length, 3.6 metres wide and the height of the ladle in driving position of 3.6 metres. For the pick-up under the furnace, the Slag Taurus P 50 only needs approx. 4.3 metres of height and is naturally predestined for this task. This is true customer satisfaction.
