Nigerian Railways (NRC) is expanding its rail network. In addition to the existing 3500 km of narrow gauge lines, over 1000 km of new standard gauge have already been built. As in many countries of the world, the infrastructure was built by Chinese companies that are world market leaders. So, it is only logical that the necessary railway cranes are supplied from the world market leader in Leipzig. The first 160 t crane was ordered by NRC at the beginning of January 2021.
